It’s no secret that we all want a better life. But sometimes it can be hard to figure out what changes we need to make. Am I eating right? Am I working out enough? Should I get a new job or am I happy where I am at the moment?

These are questions everyone has asked themselves at one point in their lives and too many people have been left with unanswered questions for too long. That’s why today, on our journey towards being healthier happier people, we’re going to answer some of these questions together by looking over my list of 17

How to Change Your Life This Year

1. Get up at the same time every day.

Let’s face it. We all have those days where we wake up and think, “Why bother? I’m going to sleep in a few more minutes.” Or even better: “I don’t need an alarm clock because my cat is already jolting me awake by pouncing on me at six-thirty every morning.” If you want to change your life this year, you have to get out of bed at the same time every day.

This helps you get into the healthy habit of waking up, and it helps you wake up at a healthy time in your body’s natural rhythm.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to wake up at 5 am every day, if you feel more rested at 7 am then that’s okay.

2. Drink 8 glasses of water a day

Our body is made up of at least 60% water, and it’s necessary for our organs to function properly. You should drink 8 glasses of water a day to keep your digestive system healthy and balanced.

water has a lot of benefits to our overall health, ranging from healthy skin and healthy hair to healthy organs. So drink up!

3. Make a healthy salad

The most healthy salads include different kinds of vegetables, such as tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers, etc. You should add some protein to your salad too. Cheese or nuts would be perfect for that – healthy fats that taste oh-so-good!

Salads are not just healthy, they’re also really delicious. Dressings can make or break a salad, so choose them carefully and you will love eating your healthy salads every day this year!

4. Meditate for 15 minutes every day

It’s easier than it sounds – and more important than we might think at first glance. Meditation has been scientifically proven to reduce stress and anxiety so if you’re constantly anxious, meditating will help you bring your anxiety levels to healthy/normal.

Meditation has its benefits beyond just relieving stress and anxiety – it helps you get in touch with your inner self, improves your focus and attention span, makes you more aware of the present moment

5. Exercise for at least 10 minutes a day

If you want healthy and toned muscles, then it’s crucial that you exercise more. Just 10 minutes of working out every day will do wonders for your body. You can jog around the neighborhood, do some simple yoga poses, or even run up and down the stairs a few times.

You will feel refreshed and ready to tackle whatever comes your way once you wake up!
